What is the real reason for the ongoing conflict in the Middle East between the Jewish and Muslim populations?
It is important to establish that the conflict in the Middle East has never been about a Palestinian state. It’s not about the division of Jerusalem, checkpoints, fences, land or borders. The issue is Israel’s right to exist as a nation.
The refusal of the Arab world to accept Israel as a nation is at the heart of the conflict that has raged since May 14, 1948. Until this is acknowledged as the sole barrier to meaningful dialogue, there will never be peace, and in fact the very phrase “peace in the Middle East” becomes an oxymoron.
It is impossible for Israel to negotiate with an entity that refuses to acknowledge the Jewish state’s very right to exist. This critical point of contention is ignored by those calling for Israel to capitulate and surrender her defensible borders. Many believe this refusal is nothing more than an honest misunderstanding or raw stubbornness. It is rather a total ignorance of the facts as they apply to the mindset of those urging Israel to give in to her detractors.
The Arab refusal to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist as a nation, while at the same time posing as a true partner in seeking the emergence of a peaceful Palestinian state, is, perhaps, the greatest, longest running, and most widely accepted hoax ever perpetrated on a gullible world. The refusal to see this incongruity is remarkable. Anti-Israeli sentiment has in fact become the new anti-Semitism. It makes Israel the new “collective Jew”, and then assaults the individual Jew as an extension of the state.
What is the root of that reason?
The real reason for the present Middle East conflict has an even more sinister and deeply established root….one that is consistently ignored by the world in spite of the overwhelming and repetitive proof of its existence. This root, expressed in history again and again, is played out every day around the world. Blind, well-meaning people refuse to believe in its existence today for the same reason they refused to believe in the existence of the ovens and cattle cars of another day: Because it shocks their rational sensibilities. The real root is not merely Israel’s right to exist as a state, but the right of the Jewish people to exist at all.
Peaceful co-existence has never been the goal, nor has the concept of Jews living dispersed in other lands without a country been an option. The real goal has been the very extermination of the Jewish race. This is why Palestinian children are taught to hate and kill Jews from their first breath and why the Islamic world throws parties in the streets every time Jewish blood is shed. It is why in radical Islamic theology the successful maiming and murdering of Jews represents the highest aspiration many Palestinian mothers have for their children.
Does the world really believe that if the nation of Israel ceased to exist tomorrow, and all the Jews left Israel, and all territorial claims were abandoned by Israel forever, the joy over the shedding of Jewish blood would cease? History screams the answer: NO!
The Grand Mufti and Moslem Brotherhood were complicit in proposing and implementing the Final Solution when there was no Jewish state. The pogroms of Russia were not in response to some argument over deserted land on the East coast of the Mediterranean. The rockets raining down on Jewish homes today from Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza are not about the soil upon which these homes are built.
The root cause of the Middle East conflict is the refusal to acknowledge the right of the Jewish state to exist, and the right of the Jewish people to exist. One is predicated on the other as surely as the dawn is predicated on the turning of the earth.
With this as the ultimate issue, what form will negotiations with Israel’s enemies take?
What is the source of that root?
What is the source of this Jewish hatred? What is the reason for this obvious and sinister racism?
A fraudulent, anti-Semitic text purporting to describe a Jewish plan for achieving global domination, written in 1903, proven a hoax in 1921, but promoted around the world to this day by the enemies of Israel and the Jewish people as factual.
The Candidate was written in order to expose the lie of The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion and to reveal the extent to which this lie has led to the ongoing hatred of the Jewish people and the state of Israel by her racist enemies.
It was written in fiction form in order to reach beyond an audience of scholars, academics and political pundits to the common man. Most are unaware of the extent to which even their own opinions about modern Israel and the Jewish people have been subtly influenced by the anti-Semitic slurs which ultimately flow from this hate literature.
This book, The Candidate, was written as part of Michael D Evans’ ongoing, forty-year, non-stop battle, in the United States and around the world, to fight with “the pen rather than the sword” both for the protection of the Jewish people and the guarantee of the right of the state of Israel to exist, within safe and secure borders, free from harassment, persecution, and war.
As a Christian Zionist, a New York Times best selling author, and an untiring and relentless friend of the nation of Israel, Mike Evans presents The Candidate as one more arrow in the quiver to slay the lies of anti-Semitism and expose the true motivations of her enemies.
