MIKE EVANS BOOK KNOCKS OUT CLINTON - AGAIN
'American Prophecies' eclipses 'My Life' as previous work beat Hillary

Author Mike Evans is making a habit of beating out former residents of the White House on Amazon.com, as his latest book, "The American Prophecies," has replaced Bill Clinton's

As WorldNetDaily reported, Evans' previous book, "Beyond Iraq," came out of nowhere last year to knock Hillary Clinton's "Living History" out of Amazon's No. 2 slot.

Even though "The American Prophecies: Ancient Scriptures Reveal Our Nation's Future" has not yet been released, presales have shot it to the top spot for the past week on both Amazon's Nonfiction list and Religion and Philosophy list.

Ironically, the book opens with an admonition from President Clinton's former pastor:

"You might be president one day. You will make mistakes, and God will forgive you. But God will never forgive you if you abandon the state of Israel." (Rev. W. O. Vaught, Pastor, Immanuel Baptist Church, Little Rock, Ark., to then-Gov. William Clinton.)

Bible-believing Christians are rallying around Evans' book, which supports President Bush, and charges Clinton with the lack of moral clarity that led to the terror crisis worldwide.

In his new book, Evans explores current events in the light of ancient scriptures and America's place in biblical prophecy.

The hatred of the Arab world for the West, and toward America in particular, Evans writes, can be traced entirely to this nation's identification with Israel. America flirts with danger, Evans says, when it accommodates the Arab world merely for the sake of oil. As God said to Abraham, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse."

MORE GOOD NEWS...

A Dallas businessman and member of Preston Baptist Church, Arch Bonnema, purchased 600 copies of The American Prophecies for his church. He was one of the first men who purchased blocks of tickets for Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”, and inspired thousands across the country to do the same. He called Mike Evans and said, “I did it for the movie; I can do it for this book. I believe this book can wake-up America, and bring souls to Christ.”
