Petition to Delta Airlines

You may have seen the news about Delta Airlines’ new partnership with Saudi Arabian Airlines through SkyTeam. As part of this agreement, Delta will be required to enforce Saudi Arabia's discriminatory policy of “no Jews allowed” on so-called “co-shared” travel flights that go to Saudi Arabia. Delta, which does not currently fly directly to Saudi Arabia, appears to be looking for new business opportunities in the Middle East—no matter what impact that has on Israel and Jews from other nations.

On my trip to Israel last week, I was told confidentially that Delta is going to cancel their flights to Israel as part of their efforts to curry favor with the extreme Muslim rulers of Saudi Arabia. Israel is having one of the best tourist years in their history, and cutting off Delta flights would negatively impact the economy of the entire country.

I am outraged at the thought that an American company would intentionally discriminate against Jews—whether from Israel, America or some other country—to curry favor from the very Saudi princes who finance Islamist extremists who are trying to kill Jews and Americans and other “infidels” for the sake of making a few dollars. It's time for us to take a stand. I'm asking you today to join me in signing the petition to Delta demanding that they immediately stop discriminating against Jews.

Saudi Arabia is one of the most restrictive nations on earth. There is not one single church or synagogue in the country, and anyone who converts from Islam to Christianity or Judaism faces the death penalty. No one with an Israeli passport is allowed to enter the country, and people who have visited Israel and have an Israeli stamp on their passport are routinely denied visas as well. Think about this: it was ten years ago that 17 men from Saudi Arabia hijacked four American planes and killed nearly 3,000 people. Today, Delta is partnering with Saudi Arabia's official government airline to discriminate against Jews from Israel and America. It's outrageous!

If someone asked Delta to discriminate against African-Americans, they would be rightly appalled and refuse. Yet to earn their “share” of Saudi business, Delta is willing to enforce the “no Jews” policy of Saudi Arabia. There is no difference; it is racism and bigotry of the worst sort…and it is being practiced by a major American company!

After you have signed the petition, please forward this to everyone in your email address book. Post it on Facebook. Send this message out by Twitter. Use every means you can to spread the word. I would like to deliver one million petitions to Delta to force them to end this ugly discrimination against Jews.

Mr. Anderson,

I am outraged by your company's willingness to enter into a business arrangement with Saudi Arabian Airlines that will place Delta in the position of enforcing racist and discriminatory policies toward Jews from Israel, America, and other countries. This is an unthinkable evil. If someone asked you to discriminate against African-Americans, you would be rightly appalled. Yet you are willing to enforce the “no Jews” policy of Saudi Arabia. There is no difference!

The subtle institution of discriminatory measures like this by companies like yours is what allows the bigotry and hatred of radical Muslims to bring harm and even death to Jewish people. I not only will not fly on your airline until you change your policy, but I will encourage everyone I know to do the same. I will not be complicit in your evil actions.

I urge you to immediately end your working relationship with Saudi Arabian Airlines and take steps to ensure that your organization is not a party to discrimination, hatred, and bigotry against Jews or anyone else. I will be watching to see how you respond.
