WHY PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM?

God pronounced blessings on those who bless Jerusalem ("I will bless those Who Bless My People.")

The return of our Lord and Savior is directly related to Jerusalem.

  1. Most all prophecy points to Jerusalem and the end times;the new Temple being built; the Antichrist; the Battle of Armageddon; 144,000 Evangelists.
  2. When we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, we are praying for the Lord to return. Hebrews 9:28, ";and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
  3. Acts 1:8 "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
  4. "When the Lord shall build (Hebrew: to obtain children) up Zion, He shall appear in His glory." Psalms 102:16
